Rolling out an A/B test winner means applying the validated experience to the intended audience, removing experiment-only delivery, and monitoring business and technical guardrails after release.

Confirm the decision

Review the primary outcome, credible range, guardrails, runtime, data quality, implementation cost, and scope. A leading variant should not ship automatically when the effect is too small or operational risk is high.

Choose rollout scope

Apply the change only to the markets, devices, templates, products, or audiences supported by the evidence. A targeted test does not prove a global effect.

Replace the test path

Use the app's apply-winner workflow when appropriate, then remove obsolete variant code, duplicate templates, redirects, or assets. Verify that pausing or ending the experiment does not revert the intended experience.

Monitor after release

Watch conversion, revenue, errors, performance, support, and operational guardrails during a defined period. Keep a rollback plan because permanent traffic and future campaigns can reveal issues the test did not expose.

Run the test in Shopify
